Andreea Popescu is a university lecturer and a physiotherapist specialized in pediatric rehabilitation, a field to which she has dedicated both her academic career and clinical practice. She chose to work with children because every small progress they make has a huge impact and brings unique professional satisfaction.
Her work is divided between teaching, research, and practical intervention, and her passion for education and health is reflected in everything she does. She recently completed her doctoral thesis, which focused on modern rehabilitation strategies for children, with an emphasis on personalized and multidisciplinary interventions.
Her goal is to contribute to the training of empathetic and well-prepared specialists, as well as to offer real support to families facing challenges related to their children’s motor development.
She believes in the balance between science and empathy, between knowledge and human connection – because in physiotherapy, especially in pediatric care, heart and science must go hand in hand.
