PRINCIPLES AND VALUES IN THE OBJECTIVES OF ROMANIAN STRATEGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract
THIS ARTICLE PRESENTS AND ANALYZES THE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES REFLECTED IN THE OBJECTIVES OF ROMANIAN STRAT EGIES FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT ELABORATED AT THE LEVEL OF THE ROMANIAN COUNTIES. DATA GATHERING WAS MADE USING A DATASHEET FOR COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS OF SOCIAL DOCUMENTS APPLIED TO THE 42 SUSTAINABLE STRATEGIES AND TO ROMANIA’S 41 COUNTIES AND BUCHARES T MUNICIPA LITY. DATA PROCESSING AND ANALYSIS WAS CARRIED OUT IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE STAGES OF THE CONTENT ANALYSIS: INVENTORY OF ALL STRATEGIC VISIONS, SETTING STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES, STANDARDIZING INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE VISION AND OBJECTIVES, CLASSIFY ING INFORMATION INTO UNITS OF ANALYSIS, ESTABLISHING THE MAIN CATEGORIES OF ANALYSIS, CODING AND ANALYZING FINAL DATA. THE COLLECTED AND ANALYZED INFORMATION WAS GROUPED INTO SIX CATEGORIES: THOSE REFLECTING THE PRINCIPLES AND VALUES UNDERLYING THE QUALITY OF LIFE T HROUGH THE PRISM OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, THROUGH ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, THROUGH EMPLOYMENT OR THOSE RE -FLECTING THE PRINCIPLES AND VALUES UNDERLYING SOCIAL INCLUSION, THROUGH THE PRISM OF HEALTH CARE, THROUGH CITIZENS' EDUCATION OR THROUGH SOCIAL ASSISTANCE.
