Abstract
THE STUDY ANALYSES THE STATE OF CORRUPTION IN THE ROMANIAN PRIVATE SECTOR, BASED ON OFFICIAL REPORTS AND PUBLIC POLICIES DOCUMENTS. EVEN IF THE MAJORITY OF STUDY IS FOCUSED ON THE PUBLIC SECTOR AND CORRUPTION, PRIVATE SECTOR BEING INVESTIGATED MOSTLY IN THE CONJUNCTION OF BUSINESS WITH PUBLIC INSTITUTION S OR AUTHORITIES, THE RESEARCHERS ALSO STUDIED T HE FACTORS INV OLVED IN CORRUPT BEHAVIOUR WITHIN BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. RESEARCHERS HAVE SHOWN THAT CORRUPTION NEVER HAS A BENEFICIAL INFLUENCE ON ENTREPRENEURSHIP WHEN BOTH DIRECT AND INDIRECT CONSEQUENCES ARE CONSIDERED. BASED ON THE DATA ANALYSED, WE EMPI RICALLY ASSUMED THAT THE BRIBERY IN THE PRIVATE SPHERE IS FOUNDED ON THE SAME PROCESSES AND WAYS OF THINKING AS BRIBERY IN THE PUBLIC SPHERE. SOME OF THIS HYPOTHESIS WERE PARTIALLY TESTED WITHIN SCIENTIFIC RESERCHES, BUT STILL, THERE ARE A LOT OF MECHANISM S TO UNVEIL AND EXPLAIN, ALL THAT IN ORDER TO SET THE OPTIMAL STRATEGIES FOR PREVENTING AND COMBATING CORRUPTION ASLO IN THE BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT. DUE TO ITS “ETHERIC“ NATURE, CORRUPTION WITHIN BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT BEING LESS PERCEIVED AND EVEN LESSER INVE STIGATED BY JU DICIALE BODIES, WE COMPARED THE PHENOMENON WITH “MORGANA FAIRY“ EFFECT, SETTING NEW RESEARCH LINES FOR PREVENTING AND COMBATING CORRUPTION WITHIN ROMANIAN BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT.
