THERE ARE A FE W STUDIES WHICH LOO KED INTO THE OVERALL BENEFIT AND LONG TERM OUTCOME OF RADICAL OPEN PROSTATECTOMY VERSUS LAPAROSCOPIC PROSTATECTOMY, THE SECOND PROCEDURE BEING MORE AND MORE POPULAR WITH THE PATIENT BUT ALSO WITH THE UROLOGIST. THE PURPOSE OF THIS ARTICL E IS TO COMPARE THE BENEFITS TO THE PATIENT, THE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES BETWEEN THIS TWO PROCEDURES REGARDING THE PROSTATE CANCER. IN MAKING THIS AR TICLE PUBMED DATABASE WAS RESEARCHED AMONG SPECIALTY LITERATURE.
