THIS PAPER PRESENTS THE DESIGN AND FUNCTIONAL STUDY OF THE PROTOTYPE OF A MULTI - ROTOR (HEXAROTOR) DRONE AND SUBSEQUENTLY OF ITS ACTUAL PROTOTYPE REALIZATION. THE DRONE IS INTENDED TO BE USED IN SECURITY APPLICATIONS FOR INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES OF STRATEGIC I NTEREST, GOVERNMENTAL INSTITUTIONS, DETENTION CENTERS, BORDER SURVEILLANCE ETC.
